Scroll Issue 7 – Let’s Kick Shell!

Scroll issue 7 is uitgekomen met de volgende onderwerpen volgens de site:

Cover Story

Not many games based on toys, movies or TV shows end up loved. Few even make an impact on players. Even fewer sustain the effects. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles took over many kids’ lives, and with help from Konami, they had games that stuck out the most in their minds. SCROLL issue 7 covers all of Konami’s principal TMNT games in the ’90s, from the troubling original NES game to the Tournament Fighters series and practically everything in between. What are they about? How do they relate to one another? And why do they always begin with the Turtles on the couch? At least two of those questions are answered in this issue, plus some non-gaming Ninja Turtle history.

Also in This Issue

  • La-Mulana
  • Auto Modellista
  • The Island of Misfit Hardware

The Retro League – Episode 147 – Retro Improv

Episode 147 van de Engelstalige podcast The Retro League is uitgekomen met 1 uur en 34 minuten retro onderwerpen:

Contrary to what our regular listeners think, we actually put time into the preparation of each episode. This week real life catches-up with us and we’re forced to wing it. Although occasionally rambling the results are quite entertaining. For example, why does one of our hosts associate the Neo Geo Pocket Color with basic training? Why does the other host refuse to learn anything about “pokeyman”? Why would someone spend $13,000 on a Pac Man watch? If you’re curious about any of these then check out the latest episode of The Retro League.
